Whoa. I haven't touched my laptop in two days!

So I've been contemplating something these past few days while I've been away from this space. Hear me out...

Can we all agree that this mom gig is hard?

Can we all agree that there are one million and one places on the internet where one can find other moms complaining (loudly) about their experiences from the trenches of motherhood? 

Personal choice, but I don't want to be one of those places. I really, really don't want to be one of those places. I enjoy snark as much as the next smartass, but I blog, first and foremost, for my family and future family. Every one else who chooses to follow along, is lagniappe. Appreciated lagniappe, but lagniappe nonetheless. 

I choose to see the good, even when life may not be rosy. I choose to see the silver lining. Always. I will never let anyone else's bitterness or warped view of the world tell me that the silver lining doesn't exist.

 I choose to recognize the beauty of what I have when I have it. I know from experience, life is too short. And I'm not about to waste one ounce of blogging energy complaining about the little ones I live it for.
