Friday Photo Dump

I really, really, REALLY wanted to sleep in today. The kids don't have school. It's cold out, I've been struggling with a headache for the last few days and staying in between the sheets next to my slightly snoring heater of a husband was the place I wanted to be.

Remy had other plans. So we're awake, downing our respective coffee and formula, watching the early morning news.

This week in Instagram.

Last Saturday was the end of Owen's football season. It was cold. It was rainy. And this was my face that day.

For someone who has a closet FULL of shoes, I sure do wear the same ones over and over again.

Fireside chats with le husband are my favorite.

I was having a moment. I'm entitled. There was a tick in my daughters hair. A tick! I'm completely traumatized.

When I look at this photo, I can't help but think about ketchup and mustard.

Oh, this was Monday. That's a Monday face. I yelled at a lot of inanimate objects that day.

See those skies? Those are what I call 'winter skies.' Meaning gray, dull, drab. This is what PA looks like from November until March.

Things we demolished this week.

Things I demolished this week.

Holy moly teething. This child is currently cutting three top teeth. He's miserable. So, so miserable.

He's been so miserable that since his doctor's appointment on Monday, he's been living in pajamas. Speaking of the doctor, Remy is doing fantastic. Still tiny. 3rd percentile for weight. 34th percentile for height. Eats like a horse and blabbers like his mom.

My wallet shutters with fear every time the heating repairman pulls up to our house.

Again with the chucks.

Finally some smiles from the little one.

...

I'm declaring today to be 'stay in our pajamas and do absolutely nothing' day.
I'll be sure to document.

Until then, pancakes are calling my name.

  1. Love the red chucks. My son is also low in weight & eats like a horse. And i adore his dinosaur overalls. :)

  2. I too have a 'not even on the charts' for weight child and she's just fine! She's four and the doctor said she's just gonna be tiny. She has tons of energy! My boys on the other hand are complete opposites! Good luck with the teething. Sometimes staying in jammies is exactly what teething kiddos and their mommies need! Have a great weekend!
