Super Star!

Every Thursday evening, when I pick up Olivia from her weekly dance class, her teacher almost always remarks that Olivia is "so funny!" 

"She keeps me laughing every week."

I often walk out of little dance studio slightly perplexed. What does she mean? Why does she always mention this? Does she say this to everyone? What in God's name is my child doing that is so goofy?

Well folks, I got answers to those questions this evening.

Tonight was the yearly dancing Christmas party/Parent show-off. And Olivia did not disappoint.

She didn't do much dancing. Well, that's if you consider dancing to be doing the choreography that the rest of the class was doing.

She spent an hour making faces at herself (and everyone else!) in the mirror.

And occasionally busting out moves that looked eerily similar to this.

....

Only 36 or so more hours until Christmas cheer arrives at my house via my parents and my mother-in-law. If I drop off the face of the planet for a few days, I'm probably in a chocolate and wine induced coma.
