All over the place.

I've been avoiding you, internet.

Indeed, most days I don't even turn my laptop on. I'm just not ready to talk about what happened to me that evening exactly one month ago. I'm still processing it and all the feelings that come with almost being taken away from the people you love.

Long story short...I had a perforated duodenal ulcer that nearly killed me and required major emergency surgery.

(And these would be my scars.)

I will share all about it one day, but I'm just not ready yet. Too soon.

....

But what's that saying? Something, something, life goes on?

Olivia started kindergarten and I didn't melt into a puddle of mom tears. Rosie is getting bigger and stronger and more adorable with every passing hour. Remy's vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds in the past month and Owen? Well, he's continuously proving his status as the best big brother ever.

....

I won't lie though and say that life has just been peachy since getting out of the hospital. It hasn't. I have good days and bad days. There's been a lot of tears and pain and frustration. But it's getting better and life is starting to return to a new sense of normalcy.

....

I plan on getting behind the lens sometime soon. I'm just waiting for the inspiration to strike.

  5. Lady, I swear. If anyone can conquer anything ever, it's you. Congratulations on Rosalia! Another blonde haired, blue eyed baby for you guys?! I think that'd be just too cute, to contrast with you, your husband, and Owen and Olivia's dark features.

Keep your chin up, pretty momma!
