Confessional

Although I am a self professed clean freak about my house, this is what my office looked like as of 10AM today. It has since been cleaned. Sort of. Halfway. Maybe.

Right after bath time this evening,  Remy decided that he wanted to sit with John while he enjoyed a very rare post workday beer. Remy got grabby. Beer was spilled down the boy's legs. I thought I had thoroughly wiped him down with baby wipes until a few minutes ago when I decided to check on a sleeping Remy only to be knocked in the face by the smell of booze in my son's nursery. 

I didn't wake him.

The back of my car currently smells like elephant poop. It's amazing. Amazingly awful.

A couple nights ago, only an hour after eating dinner, I looked over at le husband very pathetically, and declared that he needed to "feed me, dammit!"

We stayed up until midnight stuffing our faces with delivery pizza.

That whole giving up swearing for Lent thing isn't going so well. Though, I am much more aware now of what comes out of my mouth.

Even after three pregnancies, I haven't a single stretch mark on my entire body. I've never used any special creams or sold my soul to devil. Some people's pregnancies cause stretch marks. My pregnancies cause epic dental problems. Fair trade off?

Even though I consider myself a social person and LOVE to talk, I walk away from most conversations kicking myself for inevitably saying something embarrassing.

Today's my Dad's birthday. There aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe the amount of love and admiration that I have for this man, so I'll just share these pictures of him and his awesome 'stache circa 1985 and 1989 respectively.
