Still of the Morning
The smell of fresh coffee brewing. The stillness of the house. The quiet hum of the oven preheating. Schlepping down the stairs in my bathrobe, Remy snuggled up against my neck. Those couple of moments before the house comes alive with noise each morning will forever be my favorite.
