Fingers Crossed

Lord help me, I hope some freak snowstorm doesn't magically appear for me saying this..

but..

Spring is finally here!

I tell you, the smallest things excite me. It feels wonderful to be able to take the kids outside to play without having to spend half an hour bundling everyone up and fussing over layers upon layers of clothing.

Heck, growing up in south Louisiana, we're used to wearing bathing suits, eating sno-balls, and swimming in March. But not here, no way. Wear a bathing suit in March here, and you risk your appendages. :)

But y'all..

The trees are starting to sprout leaves! Flowers are blooming! The grass is green! Dandelions are popping up!

I'll try to find time in the next day or so to get out and take some photos of everything finally coming to life.

But for now, here are a few snapshots from the past couple days.
