Yikes! I didn't mean to leave you unattended, internet!

Life happens though, as I'm sure all of can understand. So, here's a little picture recap of the past week. (Pshhh..between you and me..it's really just Easter pictures, but we can just pretend that I documented every day from the past week..okay? Okay!)

Ahhh..egg dying. I for some unknown reason waited until the very last minute to run out and grab an egg dying kit. I ended up dragging Olivia to five, yes, count 'em, FIVE stores just to find one egg dying kit.

A dozen eggs, one tantrum, and 13 "Oops, Mom! I spilled!" later..

How sweet is my boy? He's all about the "I love you's" right now. I wish I could just freeze him at this age.

Oh my! Even the mythical John creature allowed me to photograph his face. It's an Easter miracle!

The kids refused to go to bed on Easter eve. And by refusing, I mean, coming down the stairs every 10 minutes and asking if the bunny had stopped by yet. 

It was a late night for me and John.

The big bunny was good to the Helm kids this year.

Webkinz and DS games and candy, oh my!

I certainly did not eat any Easter candy.

I'm a terrible liar.

Yesterday was the last day of the holiday, and the weather gods smiled down on us and gave us sunshine for part of the day. But that wasn't my favorite part of yesterday.

That was reserved for Olivia trpping over her own feet on the front sidewalk, scraping her knee and thus screaming (and probably scaring the neighbors)..."I'M DYING! I'M DYING! CALL THE POLICE! THERE'S BLOOD EVERYWHERE!"

All that for a scraped knee. 

I can't imagine where she gets her flair for drama from.
